Influences: When I first heard the Beatles I knew I wanted to play music. Since then I have been influenced by many bands, including KISS, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Skinny Puppy, Phish, and Dream Theater. My piano teacher Yuri Ann Rovner first introduced me to theory and taught me the “grammar” of why and how music is written the way it is. He gave me a true understanding of a language other than the spoken word.
